A Celebration of Oak’s Life will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2022, from 2 – 6 PM in the outdoor amphitheater. Bring cushions, stadium seats, or low back beach chairs to sit on. There will be an opportunity to share songs, stories, and poetry.

When the path that I’ve been walking

Drops away beneath my feet,

And the words in all our talking

Float away like fallen leaves,

My life will not be done,

But fly with sun and seed

Beyond this life’s horizon.

No more the woulda shoulda coulda thoughts

tormenting failures, wrongs I did or might have done;

no more the gentle touches, presents bought,

the loving gestures, the laughter, and the fun;

I will be of that energy that flows through sun and rain

Before, within, and after what was you and me.

And I will take you with me just as I’ll remain

In the love we shared together for all eternity.
