Redwood Arts Council presents Agave Ensemble
Following the release of AGAVE: In Her Hands, a collaboration with soprano Michele Kennedy, GRAMMY®-nominated AGAVE presents a century-hopping program of instrumental chamber music by women composers.
The program features the only string quartet by Fanny Mendelssohn Hensel, chamber music by the amazing late-romantic Croatian composer Dora Pejačević, and works spanning four centuries by Claudia Rusca, Isabella Leonarda, Elisabeth Claude Jacquet de la Guerre, Clara Schumann, Catharina Josepha Pratten, Avril Coleridge-Taylor, Florence Price, and Margaret Bonds, including several of AGAVE’s own arrangements.
Tickets are $35 Adults, $10 Students 18-25. Free for 17 and under.
