Occidental Center for the Arts is proud to present Charlie and the Chocolate Factory! This community theatre production will be performed in our amphitheater July 25 - Aug 3. People ages 12 and up of all genders and experience levels are welcome to audition. There will be singing and non-singing roles.

This production will be directed by Starr Hergenrather and produced by Ellen Robin, using an adaptation of Roald Dahl’s story written for the stage by Richard George, with original music by Janis Wilson and musical direction by Tim Imbach.

Auditions will be held on Saturday, April 12th from 10 AM to 4 PM, and on Tuesday April 15th from 5-9 PM.

Rehearsals begin June 6 for singing roles, June 13 for non-singing roles. Rehearsals will be Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 - 9 PM.

Performances will be Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 4pm in the Amphitheater; July 25-27 and August 1-3.
