Acorn MusEcology Project

The Acorn MusEcology Project is excited to present its fall concert, Beavers, at the OCA. This concert will be an exploration of beavers and the wild places that they inhabit and support. Beavers are a keystone species: they create entire ecosystems, and their engineering helps sequester water, engender and support biodiversity, and make landscapes more resilient to climate change. After being hunted to the brink, and otherwise driven off of the lands they once inhabited, beavers are now gaining traction, both in the waterways they formerly inhabited, and in human imaginations. AMP will tell their stories and sing their praises in this extraordinary concert.
